Glasgow Recycling Survey – Have Your Say
Glasgow City Council’s NRS Waste Management and Recycling team is asking Glasgow residents to take part in a short survey about household recycling.
The survey is part of an ongoing review of how contamination in recycling bins is identified and managed. Contamination happens when non-recyclable items are placed in recycling bins, which can affect recycling performance, increase costs and reduce the environmental benefits of recycling.
The survey is open to all Glasgow householders for six weeks from 1 September 2026 and takes approximately five minutes to complete.
Whether you are confident about recycling or sometimes find it difficult to know what can and cannot go in your recycling bin, your views are important. Feedback will help shape future recycling guidance and improvements to waste and recycling services across Glasgow.
Please share your views and help Glasgow recycle more and waste less.
