We are delighted to share the results of our latest Tenant Satisfaction Survey.

As a community-based housing association, it is very important for us to understand what matters to our tenants. We want to provide high-quality services that meet your needs and go beyond expectations. This survey helps us learn what we are doing well and where we can improve. 

The survey was carried out in November 2025. The results show a huge improvement compared to our last survey in June 2024. Even better, Wellhouse now scores well above the Scottish average in almost every area. 

Outstanding results 

Some of our key results include: 

  • Overall satisfaction with our service: increased from 80.7% to 93.69% 
  • Keeping tenants informed: increased to an amazing 99.37% 
  • Opportunities to take part in decisions: increased to 98.74% 
  • Satisfaction with the quality of homes: increased from 78% to 94.01% 
  • Value for money of rent: increased from 75.3% to 91.8% 
  • Neighbourhood management: increased from 75.3% to 94.64% 

In all these areas, our results are well above the Scottish average, which shows the positive impact of our work. We are incredibly proud of these results and are determined to keep this positive trend going. 

What tenants told us 

The survey also gave us helpful insight into what matters most to our tenants: 

  • 96.7% were satisfied with customer care during their last contact 
  • 96% feel their neighbourhood is a good place to live 
  • 98% feel safe during the day and 97% at night 
  • The top priorities are repairs, planned maintenance and affordable rents 

Most contact with us is about repairs, and we know this is an area that really matters. While satisfaction with repairs has improved, tenants told us that getting repairs right first time, speed and quality remain important areas for further improvement. 

Looking ahead 

While we are delighted with these results, we know there is always more we can do. Our main focus for further improvements will be: 

  • Continuing our planned maintenance programme 
  • Improving internal processes to deliver faster and better reactive repairs
