A one-million-pound fund will be run by NHS National Services Scotland for women who have experienced complications from vaginal mesh implants. Applications will open at the start of July 2020 and run until June 2021.

The scheme is open to women who have experienced complications after having vaginal mesh implanted in procedures carries out by or on behalf of the Scottish Health Board.

Successful applicants will receive a one-off payment of support of £1000.
