Ricky’s Convenience Store and Post Office is closing on 23 August 2024. We are at an advanced stage of putting arrangements in place with a new operator. We believe this will be a major improvement to the convenience store and post office at Newhills Road and be a big benefit to the local community. We will let you know once arrangements have been finalised.
This does mean there will be a period between the current operators closing and the new tenants being able to open the new store and this will result in a temporary inconvenience as the community will be without a convenience store and post office during that period. We apologise for any disruption this may cause and assure you that we are working diligently to ensure the new shop opens as soon as possible. In the meantime, the nearest shops offering off-license and post office services can be found at 319 Hallhill Rd, Glasgow G33 4RJ.
